Maureen Rauscher has 15 years of writing and editing experience. She spent several years in a corporate setting employed by a Fortune 500 company, where she wrote copy for in-house publications as well as for the company’s annual report. More recently, Maureen has been a newspaper reporter and has acted as copy editor for a weekly business publication, the Hartford Business Journal. As a freelance writer she has written marketing communications material, speeches and video scripts for clients in a variety of industries, including health care, technology, education, travel/tourism and the non-profit sector. As co-writer of a video script for a program produced for Hope Lodge (a patient-services program of the American Cancer Society), she earned a recognition award from the Worcester Ad Club at its annual Holland Awards ceremony.
