Robert Kaye is an internationally
published journalist and a national award-winning copywriter. Based
in Florida, he has conducted hundreds of celebrity interviews --
especially in the music and entertainment industries–- and written
articles covering such topics as architecture, home renovation,
career management, health care and the media. Additionally, he has
created award-winning television documentaries, and special event PR
materials (brochures, press kits, souvenir magazines, etc.) His
journalistic expertise also includes restaurant, movie and album
reviews; specialty shopping guides and event calendars.
Robert’s
work has appeared in several internationally distributed magazines
including Rhythm, Bass Player, New Age Voice, Modern Drummer, Dirty
Linen, Jazziz and Events USA. Robert has also been published in
Jacksonville Magazine, Jacksonville Jewish News (where he has a
bi-monthly column), Folio Weekly, Arbus, Water's Edge, The
Entertainer and the Jacksonville Business Journal. Recently, Lara
& Reyes' album, "World Jazz" -- for which Robert wrote
all the publicity materials -- was recently nominated for a Latin
Grammy Award. While at North Florida’s leading PBS TV/radio
station, Robert served as communications coordinator and was also
managing editor for its monthly program guide. As media manager for
the station’s Jacksonville Jazz Festivals, he helped select
talent, created award-winning publicity materials, coordinated media
advertising, and supervised media coverage for the weeklong event.
